Summary of the Position
Responsible for the design, development and implementation of websites and other online tools and solutions to support HPG and related businesses (e.g., WCTA, Seal-Seat)
Key Deliverables
· Develop new web and mobile applications to business specification
· Maintain web and mobile applications based upon user feedback, changing business needs, and current technology
· Collaborate with the project owners and user community to determine needs and develop solutions to meet business requirements
· Analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose and develop appropriate solutions to fix system problems
· Perform functional testing to ensure developed components are bug-free and fully compliant with the design
· Document configurations and/or modifications prior to placing them into production
· Monitor Lincoln Electric and third party resources that assist in completing modifications
· Meet all agreed on target dates for projects as well as individual tasks
· Lead development effort by collaborating with project owners and user community to determine needs and develop solutions to meet business requirements
· Maintain current knowledge of HPG goals and business processes and how HPG’s online presence supports those goals and business processes
· Provide status updates and completion information to manager, problem request tracking system and/or users via voice mail, e-mail, ticket tracking system, and/or in-person communication
· Submit weekly status reports to manage

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

HPG Project Work – 85%
· Conduct meetings/meets with end-users to understand requirements for additional web-related functionality
· Develop applications to stated requirements using current technology and industry best practices
· Maintain skills on current HPG online systems and tools including Content Management Software and Digital Asset Management software
· Assists user in determining benefits if required for justification
· Function as the development lead as assigned and assists project manager in monitoring project progress
· Follow up with end-users to insure business requirements met successfully
· Provide complete and timely documentation related to specifications and testing
HPG End User Support – 10%
· Monitor trouble ticket tracking system and respond to user requests and/or manager assignments according to priority assigned and impact to performance and HPG business
· Perform analysis and specification tasks to create trouble ticket tracking system cases to address issues
· Monitor trouble ticket tracking system case status and support those tasked to resolve issues
· Follow up with end-users to insure any/all reported issues have been resolved
· Document all tasks performed during problem resolution in the trouble ticket tracking system
Other Duties – 5%
· Obtain web/online certifications and education as agreed to by manager
· Spend some time each year working in the areas supported
· Perform all other duties assigned
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and three of more years related experience.

Key Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Qualities Required
Technical –
· 3-5 years of experience designing and developing commercial websites and web applications using the following online technologies: ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET, XML, HTML, CSS, Java Script, jQuery, Web Services, and SQL Server / T-SQL
· Experience developing mobile applications using Xamarian toolset is preferred
· Experience with Content Management Systems (Sitecore preferred)
· Experience leading small-to-medium sized web development projects
· Good knowledge of standards-based design, cross-browser design, usability and accessibility considerations, and web multimedia production
· Ability to analyze requirements to develop online solutions that fit within proper web framework.
· Solid understanding of relational database design and concepts
