Description:

Accent Consulting is seeking a talented Network Administrator to join our team and spearhead the management and optimization of network infrastructures. As a Network Administrator, you'll be pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems to ensure peak performance, reliability, and security. From troubleshooting network issues to deploying new technologies, you'll play a critical role in ensuring seamless connectivity for our clients' businesses. Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in network administration or similar roles.

  • Profound understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).

  • Hands-on experience with network infrastructure devices like routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points from various vendors.

  • Ability to design and implement network solutions, including LAN/WAN architectures, VPN configurations, and security measures.

  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or PRTG.

  • Knowledge of cloud networking technologies, especially in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the capability to diagnose and resolve network-related issues efficiently.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

  • Preferred certifications include Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
