Position Summary: The Site Lead Therapist is responsible for the day-to-day operations and activities of Clinical Services at the Baltimore City community counseling sites, which include the main administrative building on Argonne and the Spanish language specific site in Highlandtown. This includes supervision of staff and interns, serving as the liaison to other HRM departments, and maintaining the integrity of the program in the community. The Site Lead Therapist is also responsible for providing direct therapeutic services to victims of intimate partner violence on an ongoing basis as well as in crises. The Site Lead Therapist facilitates and supports a team approach among staff to address the trauma, mental health and other clinical issues clients may present.
In collaboration with the Associate Director of Clinical Services, the Site Lead Therapist ensures that the goals, objectives, and work effort of the staff at these sites are consistent with the mission of the House of Ruth Maryland and advances the agency and program’s strategic goals and objectives.
