Position Summary: Recruitment Coordinator manages the full recruitment cycle and ensures House of Ruth Maryland always meet our staff requirements in the hiring process from beginning to end. The recruiter should have a focus on confidentiality, accuracy and customer service. This position provides support to allow efficient Human Resources operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinates full cycle recruitment for all vacancies
- Places job advertisements
- Counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process
- Ability to conduct various types of interviews (in person, online, phone)
- Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with clients or hiring managers
- Checks candidates’ references and credentials, verifying experience and background
- Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions
- Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met
- Assist in the maintenance of Human Resources Information System database, files and general human resources information
- Produces and maintains reports or simple supporting schedules as needed using MS Word or EXCEL formats
- Reproduces, creates, revises, and as necessary, distributes human resources recruitment forms
- Consults with hiring managers and directors to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s)
- Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields
- Reviews data and records to identify and select potential candidates for vacant position
- Follow up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful
- Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and company managers when necessary
- Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities
- Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
- Enforce Recruiting plan and updates plan, with approval, as necessary
