Starting pay at $14.00/hour based on experience and shift
Day Shift: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
Night Shift: 4:45 pm – 3:15 am
Position Overview:
As a Brazer, you will Braze aluminum or copper components for heating and air conditioning industry:
- Read work order or follow oral instructions
- Braze components using hand torch to assemble fabricated metals parts as specified by work order
- Turn valves to start flow of gases, light torch, and make required, if any, adjustments
- Guide torch and rod along joint to heat to brazing temperature and melt braze alloy to bond component pieces together
- Print labels according to the work order
- Able to complete repetitive task
- Responsible for clocking in and out of work order on the computer
- Keep area clean
- Work overtime as needed
Candidates should have an exemplary work ethic and meet these minimum requirements:
- Prefer a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Prefer Brazing experience
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attendance record
- Manufacturing experience is preferred
- Flexibility to work overtime if needed
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
