Position overview:
In this role, you will continuously drive factory improvements, using Lean Sigma tools, in safety, quality, customer service, and costs while collaborating effectively with other areas of the business. Additionally, you will lead the lean transformation in the facility u7sing the corporate guidelines and including all employees in the facility.

Candidates should possess strong management skills, an exemplary work ethic and have:

A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent from a four-year college and a minimum of five years’ experience as an Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Production Manager/Supervisor.

Strong experience in implementing lean manufacturing and six sigma.

Proven experience in creating and leading teams.

Strong computer skills including expert-level knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; experience with SAP ERP system preferred.

Prefer Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and Lean Manufacturing experience.

Attention to exercising strict confidentiality in regard to personnel matters while assisting and supporting employees with work-related issues.
Major responsibilities:

Managing the production facility's day-to-day activities including responsibility for safety, quality, manufacturing, maintenance, and process engineering.

Developing a continuous improvement approach utilizing lean manufacturing principles and six sigma methodologies.

Interface with sales and supply chain to manage inventory and optimize service; with marketing and development engineering for smooth and quick new product introduction; and with purchasing for the approval of new raw material sources.

Managing the manufacturing process assigning production employees, maintenance, quality, etc. to optimize service, cost, quality, and materials flow from supplier to customers.
