Position overview:

Process customer orders for shipment efficiently and accurately

With a strict focus on safety, operate material handling equipment as well as other machinery required to do that job in accordance with established safety procedures

Maintain accurate daily time reporting and be responsible for order fill rates

Participates in safety training and demonstrates a high regard for safety at all times

Qualified candidates should demonstrate an exemplary work ethic and possess:

Required: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)

Preferred: One to three months’ related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.

Ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals

Ability to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
-
Physically capable to stand for extended periods of time and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Reliable transportation and strong attendance record with the flexibility to work overtime if needed.

Ability to pass a background check, drug screen and physical.

Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Work demands occasional strenuous effort. For example, handling of moderately heavy boxes, tools, equipment or materials; walking/climbing or sitting/standing in a fixed position for extended periods of time; working around moving parts/machines; working with irritant chemicals, etc. The employee is required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, coats, boots, gloves, or shields; may require working in adverse weather conditions.
