Position overview:
The Harris Products Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Quality Team. Your role is to test and inspect manufactured and purchased products at various stages of the production process and to compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products to Harris Product Group standards. While supporting safety within your team and cross-functionally, you will ensure data accuracy and timely completion of projects and reports, perform internal process and procedure audits, and maintain product certification database. Additionally, you will calibrate instruments, maintain corrective action reports, process returns, investigate root cause and execute other quality assurance duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates must be goal-oriented team players and possess:
· A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience in a lab technician position. Associate’s degree preferred.
· Prefer Six Sigma experience.
· Strong computer literacy; prefer experience with SAP.
· Strict attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate and consistent data.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills with experience working cross-functionally.
· Ability to simultaneously and timely execute multiple assignments to ensure smooth work flow.
· Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedures with ability to read and interpret documents such as
safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and technical specifications.
· Basic algebra and geometry concept knowledge; ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and
proportions to practical solutions.
· Practical problem solving ability and experience dealing with multiple variables where limited standardization exists.
