Position overview:
The Harris Products Group, an industry leader in metalworking products, is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As a valued team member, you will execute outbound calls to generate sales and increase revenue while providing world-class customer service to new and existing customers. By continually expanding your product knowledge and understanding of technical aspects, you will serve as an expert by answering customers’ technical questions and recommending application solutions. Based on your understanding of your customers and their requirements, you will cross-sell and up-sell while collaborating with the Inside and Outside Sales Managers to develop strategies for targeted sales opportunities.

Qualified candidates should be customer-focused and possess:
· A High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: Associate’s degree with two years’ related training/experience.
· Strong sales, customer service, and time management skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Preferred: proficiency in CRM and SAP.
· Willingness and ability to travel 5-10% of the time.
· Interest and ability to learn technical aspects of our products and applications and maintain updated knowledge of product lines and pricing.
· Strength in collaborating with cross-functional teams while promoting a supportive environment.
· A passion for selling and establishing/building rapport while providing exemplary customer service.
· Ability to provide creative solutions to customer concerns/complaints with ability to handle rejection.
· Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills with ability to multi-task.
· Preferred: One year of metal joining experience or solder, brazing, and welding background.
