Position overview:
As an HR Generalist, you will perform diversified duties in the human resource department within legal and corporate guidelines. You will develop talent needed to support current and future business requirements through career counseling, and training and development of employees. Promote employee engagement by fostering multi-channel communications with management and employees. Collaborate in the retention of employee talent by providing timely and accurate payroll services. Assist HR Manager in the development and execution of HR Initiatives, and various HR projects and functions.
Qualified candidates should possess an exemplary work ethic and the following qualifications:

Must have a HS Dipolma or GED

Prefer a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years prior HR work experience.

Prefer Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Certified Benefits Specialist (CBS) certification.

Experience tracking of turnover rate for employees.

Time and attendance experience; processing payroll.

Monitor staffing plans to ensure open positions are filled in a timely and compliant basis.

Administrate pre-employment testing and advise managers on proper requisition and hiring policies and procedures and Affirmative Action requirements for hiring potential qualified applicants.

Experience ensuring all employees complete onboarding process-paperwork, orientation, safety training and coordination with information technology and other departments. Exit / termination process: resignation questionnaire, benefits, company property, badge deactivation, etc.

Preferred experience with SAP and HR Linc

Superior written and verbal communication skills with a strong talent in data entry.

Ability to organize, schedule, and create agendas for meetings, appointments, and interviews.

A strict focus on maintaining data confidentiality and accommodating appropriate retention guidelines.

Confidence and knowledge to exercise independent judgement while staying up-to-date on federal/state laws and regulations.
