Position overview:

The Accountant will carry out the responsibilities of the Finance department in cash application and inter-company transactions.  You will allocate all payments received, prepare general ledger entries and account reconciliations, and ensure all processes are compliant with legal, regulatory, and company financial reporting standards.  While working cross-functionally, you will gain an understanding of other aspects of the organization.  From accounts receivable to reporting and internal controls, this position will provide vast exposure to other areas within the business and the opportunity to work in a team-oriented environment. Travel of 5-10% both domestically and internationally may be required.

Qualified candidates must be customer-focused and have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• Strong technical skills including a high-level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel; prefer experience with SAP.

• Ability to implement ideas for process improvement and recommend appropriate changes.

• Demonstrated success with managing several projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Exceptional organization skills and ability to collect, analyze and summarize information.

• Sound analytical skills with initiative to problem solve and exercise professional judgment as necessary.

• A strict focus on compliance and maintaining confidentiality.

• Ability to deliver high quality service both internally and externally.

• Willingness and ability to travel 5-10% of the time both domestically and internationally.
