Position Overview:
We are looking for an Industrial Shipper candidate who has all the following skills and wants to take the next step in their career: Forklift, shipping, billing, scanning, make inventory adjustments, and a “get it done no matter what” attitude.
Major Responsibilities:
- Picks and boxes orders as specified by customer requirements, assuring details are thoroughly verified and order documentation is properly completed.
- Picks up and transports finished product from Assembly department to Distribution. Records moved product location on proper documentation.
- Maintains quality by verifying that pulled product, packaged or not, meets customer requirements and work procedures
- Accurately process shipments through UPS or Fedex systems
- Load and unload trucks as required
- Provide documents and communicate with International Customer Service as required
- Accurately process completed shipments and invoices in SAP as required
- Accurately process inventory transactions and other data in SAP as required
- Completes the following forms/reports as required by department procedures: Customer Deliveries, Returned Goods Authorization, Daily 5S Check Sheet, Incoming Packing List, Outbound packing lists with weights and dimensions as required.
Candidates should have an exemplary work ethic and meet these minimum requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Experience with SAP or equivalent inventory management system.
- Ability to contact truck lines to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
- Able to work Saturdays if needed.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs on a regular basis.
- Basic computer skills.
