Position overview:
The Harris Products Group is seeking a self-motivated, entry-level Technical Support Specialist responsible for installation, modification, and minor repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems to support The Harris Products Group and related businesses. In this role, you will provide technical assistance and training to system users through the help desk. In this role, a strong focus on customer satisfaction must be maintained, documentation must be accurate and thorough, and status updates and completion details must be communicated timely to manager and users, through the tracking system.

Qualified candidates should be customer-focused and possess:
- Assocaites Degree or one year certificate from a college or technical school; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prefer 1-2 years of experience installing and troubleshooting Microsoft Operating Systems and office applications. Must have exceptional ability to analyze and diagnose computer network connectivity issues.
- Ability to monitor work order ticketing system and respond to user requests according to priority assigned, and impact to performance. Follow up with end user to insure any/all reported issues have been resolved.
- Solid understanding and ability to install and maintain optimum performance of approved hardware and software applications.
- Strength in establishing/building rapport while providing exemplary customer service and timely follow-up.
