Automation Robotic Technician - Gainesville, GA

2nd Shift - 3 PM to 11:30 PM
3rd Shift - 10:30 PM to 7 AM
Position Overview:
Set-up and operate regulator robotic cell per prints, bills of material listings, programs, and work instructions/job descriptions. Meet productivity and quality standards set for the operations.
Major Responsibilities:
- From routing issued with order, pull required parts from staging area. Load feeder bowls on robotic assembler unit.
- Set required fixtures and pressures per print information.
- Call up assembly program associated with part.
- Monitor robotic assembly operation, with particular attention to part feed operations.
- Assume responsibility in cell for assuring the winding and test operations are being performed per job descriptions and job instruction.
- Document work performed on labor tickets.
- Upkeep quality inspection records per job description and work instruction.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance as required.
- Work on cost saving projects, Six Sigma projects, and provide support for other team members and projects.
- Attend team meetings.
- Utilize lean tools and techniques such as 6S and visual factory concepts in maintaining order and cleanliness.
- Perform additional tasks to support production as needed or directed by supervisor or management.
Candidates should have an exemplary work ethic and meet these minimum requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Prefer a minimum of one year regulaor assembly experience or prior machine operator experience.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs on a regular basis
- Basic computer skills.
