Job Summary
The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, order, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. This role ensures guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment by performing daily cleaning duties to hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean guest rooms including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms.
Replace linens, towels, and room amenities according to hotel standards.
Replenish supplies such as soap, shampoo, tissues, and toilet paper.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained.
Handle guest requests promptly and courteously.
Follow proper chemical handling procedures and safety guidelines.
Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
Assist with laundry duties as needed (washing, drying, folding linens).
Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and health/safety regulations.
