We are looking for a full-time highly motivated and personable Desktop Deployment Engineer to join our team!

This is a full-time position with opportunity for bonuses. You will qualify for health and dental insurance, life insurance, vacation, holiday pay, 401k with company match. This is a work in the office position based in Rochester, NY.

As a Desktop Deployment Engineer you will be responsible to install various applications, hardware or software as it relates to desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, other peripherals and network equipment. Must have the ability to understand client requirements and follow recommendations that exceed customer expectations. Must have the discipline to follow processes, checklists and project plans. Responsible to meet deadlines and exceed the customers expectations.

Skills:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support role or help desk environment.

  • Strong understanding of information technology principles and network systems.

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving basic hardware and software issues.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

  • Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional service.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems and remote support tools.

  • Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common productivity software.

  • Having a detailed knowledge of the equipment, materials and supplies required by the customer

  • Perform the installation and setup for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, other peripherals and network equipment

  • Detail-oriented and driven to improve efficiencies

  • Integrate technical knowledge with business acumen

  • Work well independently and committed to thinking outside of the box to achieve results

  • Always finding ways to to eliminate waste and variability in the deployment process or supply chain

  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent are a plus.
