As a Sr. Front End Developer at MoneyGuide, you will have the opportunity to build the next generation of the #1 financial planning software in the industry.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with other engineers to build the next generation of MoneyGuide front-end applications
• Create reusable, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested solutions
• Mentor and motivate others around you with your passion and expertise
• Collaborate with product owners and other engineers on building high-quality features
• Capable of owning projects through design, implementation, and deployment
• Must effectively prioritize workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of web developer and JavaScript experience
• 3+ years building advanced Angular applications
• Minimum 1 year working experience consuming RESTful APIs
• Required technical skills include:
- JavaScript (Particularly ES6)
- Typescript
- Angular v9 or greater
- RxJS
- NgRx or similar state management library
- SASS/CSS
- HTML5
- Git version control
• Client-side unit testing via Jest or similar testing library a plus
• Experience in finance technology considered beneficial but not required
• Self-starter with positive attitude and strong work ethic
