CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INSIDE SALES MANAGER

Position overview:

In this role, you will manage and direct all aspects of incoming customer service center operations to provide world class service for all product lines and to support development of new and existing accounts.  As the team leader, you will implement and review Customer Service and Inside Sales policies and procedures; recruit, train, and develop staff; and align customer service metrics, inside sales budgets and promotions with the strategic company objectives. You will direct Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and Order Entry Specialists in the maintenance and development of their customer base.  Also, you will direct the Inside Sales Team to drive customer growth while promoting our vast product line. The Customer Service and Inside Sales Manager will lead efforts to optimize departmental strategies and best practices, control expenses, and promote customer and staff engagement to enhance satisfaction and reach growth targets. This position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing and is located at the headquarters in Mason, OH (Cincinnati area).

Qualified candidates must be goal-driven and customer-focused professionals who possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration plus a minimum of 3 years’ customer service/sales leadership experience or an Associate’s degree in Business Administration plus a minimum of 5 years’ customer service/sales leadership experience.  Experience must be in a call center environment.

  • Creativity to design sales campaigns, promotions, and also sales/customer service call center metrics.

  • Leadership intelligence to manage and develop representatives to foster sales performance and growth.

  • Previous experience developing departmental budgets and meeting or exceeding financial plans.

  • Demonstrated success in devising and delivering training and with workforce planning and scheduling.

  • Ingenuity to manage key relationships while maximizing new business development opportunities and utilizing company’s CRM to record business interactions.

  • A proactive problem solving approach with the ability to build and sustain an engaged team environment.

  • Experience documenting performance and offering recognition and appreciation for reaching/exceeding goals.  

  • Attention to exercising strict confidentiality with regard to personnel matters while assisting and supporting employees with work-related issues.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with vast experience presenting information cross-functionally and to all levels of personnel.
