Description:
We are seeking a hard-working and energetic Product Manager who loves the world of web development. In this position you will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product life-cycle, including: 
 
Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports and aligns with the company's overall strategy and goals.
 
We are looking for a proven self-starter capable of understanding what needs to be done and makes it happen.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Function as Product Owner in our software development process.
  • Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going communication with current and prospective customers.
  • Write and prioritize user stories in the product backlog, specifying requirements and acceptance criteria with detail and clarity sufficient for implementation and testing.
  • Work with user experience (UX) designers to create a compelling user experience around each story, expressed through wire-frames, mock-ups or prototypes.
  • Work with development teams to communicate the product vision, clarify use cases and requirements, resolve issues arising during development, and accept stories as they are completed.
  • Conduct internal demonstrations of the product at regular intervals during development, to communicate progress and solicit stakeholder feedback.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and product road-map by developing and communicating business cases to leadership.
  • Work with stakeholders to define and develop the product strategy and road-map
  • Assist Marketing and Sales in the development of product positioning, marketing strategies, and pre/post-sales activities related to product functionality.
  • Serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering. Be the product expert to internal teams
  • Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product.

Skills:

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of software or technology product management experience, preferably in an environment using iterative or agile development practices.
  • Unique blend of business and technical savvy; big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Willingness and ability to listen; genuine interest in understanding and solving client problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute on initiatives.
  • Ability to interact and team with others is essential. Must be able to partner within organization to generate results.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A college degree from a competitive school and several years of relevant work experience
  • Computer Science or Engineering degree or work experience a strong plus.
  • Experience with static code analysis tools, software security, and/or code quality tools a plus.
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities including the ability to analyze and report metrics.
