Summary:

The Youth Services Supervisor plans, implements, hires, supervises, and evaluates all staff, program, and activities of Youth Services. He or she is responsible for the data and outcome reporting for all youth programs. He or she provides professional development training for staff and is responsible for ensuring program model fidelity, including compliance with the Indiana Afterschool standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervise youth services staff and volunteers
  • Creates staff schedules, monthly newsletters, memos, and purchase orders
  • Performs interviews, administers performance reviews, and provide performance coaching and feedback
  • Assist staff with direct client work in the youth program
  • Conduct staff development training, provide individual supervision, and facilitate group meetings
  • Develop, nurture, and maintain relationships with community partners and parents
  • Assist in managing the administrative responsibilities of youth program, including reviewing administrative documentation to ensure compliance.

Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Bachelor's degree in sociology, human services, education, psychology, or other related field.
  • Ability to obtain Child & Youth Care Worker credential within 1 year of date of hire

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of previous related experience
  • 1-2 years of previous supervisory experience preferred
