Position overview:
The Financial Analyst will support the Controller and Finance Director to carry out the integral responsibilities of the Finance/Accounting department. In this role, you will prepare general ledger entries, financial statements, perform variance analysis, and provide recommendations to management for making informed decisions using financial and operational data available. In addition, you will ensure financial statements are compliant with legal, regulatory and company financial reporting standards. While working cross-functionally, you will gain a complete understanding of every aspect of the organization along with how they impact the bottom line. From reporting and internal controls to budgeting and forecasting, this position will provide vast exposure to other areas within the business and the opportunity to work in a team-oriented environment.

Qualified candidates should possess an exemplary work ethic and have:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
· Two years’ related experience; prefer experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong technical skills including a high-level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs; advanced level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
· SAP and Hyperion Financial Management experience strongly preferred.
· Demonstrated success with managing several projects and priorities simultaneously.
· Exceptional organization skills with ability to gather, record, and maintain accurate data and entries while ensuring data integrity.
· Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting and forecasting.
· Superior communication skills with ability to present information across all levels of personnel.
· Ability to deliver high quality service both internally and externally.
· A strict focus on compliance and maintaining confidentiality.
· Willingness to travel 5-10% of the time both domestically and internationally.
