NATIONAL SALES MANAGER
HVAC/R Wholesale Industry

Position
overview:
This
leadership role will create, implement and manage internal and external
marketing and sales strategies and programs that will boost demand, drive
incremental sales, and promote customer loyalty and engagement within your respective
channels. You will promote and sell our ‘Equipment and Consumables’ including:
Cutting, Heating, Brazing & Gas Apparatus to HVAC/R Wholesale and
Plumbing Distributors in North America. You will set short and long-term sales
strategies, evaluate the effectiveness of current sales programs, and direct
and oversee the organization’s sales policies, objectives, and initiatives.
While controlling expenses and maintaining objectives set forth by the company,
you will establish and meet national sales goals and objectives in addition to
recommending product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction. The
National Sales Manager will lead assigned Regional Managers and their indirect sales representatives and will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing for
the Americas. This position is located at the headquarters in Cincinnati, OH.
Qualified
candidates must be goal-driven sales professionals who possess:

A minimum of 7 years of successful management experience leading sales
managers on a national level; experience managing sales professionals
contracted or direct within the HVAC/R and Plumbing Wholesale
industry preferred.

A four year undergraduate degree from an accredited institution of
higher education; MBA highly preferred.

Familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and
procedures with sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Ingenuity to develop and manage key relationships throughout North America
while maximizing new business development opportunities and utilizing company’s
CRM to record business interactions.

Mastery in identifying market gaps with strength in negotiating
contracts and programs on a National level.

Strategic ability to manage channel pricing strategies to meet
financial objectives and increase market share.

Business acumen to communicate changing market conditions, forecasts,
and assemble business proposals.

Vast experience presenting information cross-functionally and to all
levels of personnel.

Leadership intelligence to manage and develop direct and indirect
representatives to foster sales performance.

Ability to travel 60-70% of the time and actively participate in
national/local trade shows and conferences.
