Position overview:

Procures material from the warehouse to be repacked

Performs any work necessary to convert product to customer's specifications as outlined on the work order

Prints labels needed to apply to packaging

Assures proper MSDS is included in packaging
-
Inspects product prior to packing to ensure quality standards are met

Where appropriate, uses micrometers to ensure diameter is within specifications
-
Where necessary, performs cycle counts of material
-
Puts incoming packaging in proper stocking location

Uses appropriate measurement equipment to confirm product characteristics

Operates material handling equipment as needed

Qualified candidates should demonstrate an exemplary work ethic and possess:

A High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience using hand tools to measure and inspect product and setup equipment.

Reliable transportation.

Strong attendance record.
-
Ability to pass background check, drug screen and physical.

Understanding of the manufacturing process with ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures or regulations such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and manuals.

Flexibility to work overtime if needed.

Eligible to work in the U.S without sponsorship.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Work demands occasional strenuous effort. For example, handling of moderately heavy boxes, tools, equipment or materials; walking/climbing or sitting/standing in a fixed position for extended periods of time; working around moving parts/machines; working with irritant chemicals, etc. Employee is required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, coats, boots, gloves, or shields; may require working in adverse weather conditions.
