Position Title: Manufacturing Planning Coordinator

Principal Responsibility
Schedules, Plans, Purchases, and Implements work thru all Workcenters, managing internal and external resources thru JobPACK scheduling system to maintain 99.5% On Time Delivery and maximize Utilization. Assesses daily performance by Workcenter and employee and informs respective department managers where action is necessary. Insures that when a job is ready for the floor, all information is complete so that the operator can proceed without delay.

- Run/Utilize JobPACK for all scheduling and planning
- Manage all open orders/jobs for on time delivery thru Job PACK and communicates potential late deliveries to customer service.
- Manage Capacity by workcenter.
- Provide Order/Job Due Dates for order acknowledgements using Job PACK.
- Identify and coordinate tooling, inspection and special gauging requirements, (BOM Items) whether in house or from customer. Coordinate inspection requirements, programs & planning among Quality Control, Engineering and Production.
- Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assignments.
- Reviews, edits, and processes daily Labor & Machine Time Cards from Job PACK to E2.
- MBWA for Estimate to Actual daily review thru Performance Summary, communicating to department managers for corrective action.
- Communicates with Purchasing for purchases and outside services required to support one time delivery.
- Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner within company rules and regulations.
Secondary Duties
- Receive incoming material, mark material, assign job numbers, copy and file certifications..
- Open Shop Order Folders and associated documentation by reviewing customer orders, including revision levels, and repeat jobs through system, including making necessary routing changes by reviewing previously marked up routers. Make changes to router regarding engineering revisions.
- Assist order processor in all aspects of job when required.
Physical Demands
Ability to sit extended periods of time at a desk. Ability to operate computer for long periods of time. Must be highly attentive to detail. Normally works in an office environment, but may also subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts; exposure to oils and cutting fluid
