CNC MACHINIST - 3,4,5 Axis     1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift

Job Summary

The machining employee will be primarily responsible for the Set Up and Operating of any type of the following equipment, whichever you are most experienced in.:

3,4,5 Axis Machining Centers 

Work Tasks

  1. Determine the sequence of operations and finished dimensions of work piece. 

  2. Set Up various Equipment

  3. Programming skills a Plus for:  Fanuc and/or Haas CNC Machining Centers

  4. Run jobs
  5. Follows KVI procedures for quality and job requirements

  6. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product, and suggests changes to increase efficiency of jobs.

  7. Provide problem solving.

  8. May assist in training new workers. 


CNC Machining/ToolMaker/MoldMaker/EDM

Required Knowledge

  • Strong working knowledge of Set Up and Run of a Variety of CNC Machines that you already have experience on.  These may include:
    • CNC Prototrak/EX Trak
    • Hurco Conversational Programming Milling Machines
    • Fanuc Or Mitsubishi Controls
    • DMG/Mori VMC's and 5 Axis
    • HAAS 5 Axis 
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Inspection methods used in manufacturing.
  • The ability to learn new equipment.
  • Strong communication skills.
